Kanchanjunga Trek, Literally the Kanchanjunga means, crystal clear in Nepal and geographically the Kanchanjunga mountain is the second tallest in Nepal and the third tallest in the world after that the K2 of Pakistan. The whole trekking areas in this region streaked through and around the Arun River whose origin is believed to be the dates back of the prehistoric period. The Arun valley is one of the most beautiful and visits- able regions to trek in Nepal. Traveling around this part gives an opportunity to enjoy and study deep the traditional culture of Rai and Limbu, and the native locals of this area. Trekking in this area is an adventure that is full of extraordinary excitement and above all, an unexplainable experience of your lifetime.

This longest trek in Nepal provides the opportunity to view cardamom farming in the lowest altitude to panoramic view of the mountains with Yalung glacier at its higher altitude. You will be greeted by Namaste in Dhunse, and Cherang village which are perched in the vicinity of the rich flora and fauna area. Mt. Kumbhakarna, Mt. Kiratchuli, Mt. Nepal Peak, Pathibhara Himal and Chang Himal, the famous Mountain View is superbly visible on this trek. Kanchenjunga area is the most enchanting place of Nepal, not found elsewhere just below the surface of Kanchanjunga mountain (8586m). This area is declared as the gift of the paradise full of alpine grass lands, rocky hills, dense sub-tropical forests and low river valley. It is situated in north eastern part of Nepal border by Tibet, China and India. This enchanting area offers the excellent display of flowering glory of rhododendrons, orchids, lilies and so many other flowers. The most looking place of this region is Kanchenjunga Conservation Area spread in an area of 2,035 square Kilometers. The area has a rich diversity of wildlife including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda and others. Lophophorus, pheasant, red-billed blue magpie, are the major birds found here.

Kanchenjunga area is the inhabitants of Sherpa people; who have totally different culture and tradition from those of Solukhumbu district. Rais, Chhetris, Brahmans are other ethnic group in this region. Monasteries, Chhortens, temples, prayer walls are seen all over here as the Buddhist culture of this. So Kanchenjunga is the most popular trekking destination which will far beyond than your imagination to everyone.
