This is a short trek which starts from near Pokhara and can be viewed good mountain sceneries. It is called so, because Prince Charles and his team trekked here. During this trek you can see the village of Brahmins, Chetris, Gurung, Magars etc. This area will be good for those trekkers who like to go in less tourist area. The Royal Trek is one of the short trek follows a shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley. The Royal Trek is so-named because Prince Charles and his 90 person entourage had explored this route in the early eighties. This Royal Trek provides the opportunities for worthy cultural experiences with the diversely mixing of people inhabited in this region. The journey of Royal trek begins from the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara and passes through beautiful Gurung hamlets. During the trek, we are able to enjoy stunning views of the rice terraces, and the magnificent Annapurna range, Machapuchhre [fishtail] and the Lang tang Mountain views. The trip finally prorogues at the scenic Begnas Lake which is about 30 km west of Pokhara City.
