How to getting there?

Being 17 hours drive from Kathmandu, Getting to Bardiya National Park is the main drawback. Many people do not main extra Excitement taking local transportation - all you are in Nepal to gain new experience! Other prefers to spend the extra money on domestic flights (US$99.00 one way). However if you are looking for the "Middle road" this is the solution. Bardia National park does not have the same facilities you would fine in like Chitwan. However it is the jungle experience and insight into a different life style that is the main attraction. Local people use Ox and buffalo to plough the fields and grind the rice by hand (leg power actually!!).
